I truly enjoyed this story. A great MM story!!
Blaine is a well-dressed, high priced attorney, and George is a hairy mountain of an auto mechanic. This odd couple meets up one evening on a slow night at a bar. The pickings are slim. Slim enough for these opposites to eyeball each other and ask themselves just how bad they want to get laid.
Pleasantly surprised by the evening’s outcome, Blaine is faced with a dilemma. Should he throw caution to the wind and pursue George, or steer clear of that unexpected distraction to his carefully structured life?
I love anything supernatural and adore ghost stories so when the author gave me an ARC, I gleefully grabbed it like a kid grabbing a cookie from the jar. The story was filled with suspense and spookiness. It was eerie so I turned off the bedside lamp just to experience the whole experience! Jason and Wade’s tale added spice and fun into the story and I love that aspect. Great plot with well-developed characters.
I intend re-read this story when I need a good dose of something spooky whilst enjoying a hot cup of coffee.
When Aylin is cast out of her town after a series of unfortunate life events, she decides to go where the vengeful townsfolk are afraid to wander, so she climbs a mountain in the wilderness. Little does she know who resides on that mountain.
Barbatus has lived in solitude for ages, only rarely traveling down the mountain. He and his shifter companions are perfectly happy keeping to themselves until one day a woman ventures in, and his life will never be the same.
This book reminds me of a fairy tale retold! The author’s imagination and use of ancient myths is wonderful and keeps you desperate to know more!
